13 conditions
PPC comment: The Committee object to this application on the grounds of it is contrary to the Village Design Statement (unabridged version)
New or replacement buildings, building extensions and alterations should comply as indicated-
roof materials, pitches of roofs, dormers, gable ends, porches, chimneys and colour schemes blend, not jar, with the majority of existing neighbouring buildings
It is also contrary to DC1, BE1 (first second and third point)
They also feel that the plans are innovative and are more suited to a welsh coastal area, but not a rural area.
10/1142M Bollin Hey, Collar House Drive extension of time limitation for replacement dwelling (minor amendment to approval 05/1754P)
16 conditons
PPC comment: The Committee are unable to comment as they do not have any notification of the minor amendments.
10/1534M The Vicarage, The Village alterations to bridge and construction of entrance gates and wall/railings (amendment to approved application 10/0493M)
3 conditions
PPC comment: The Committee feel that railings are not suitable in a conservation area and they are sympathetic to the comments sent by Judith Large to us and Susie Bishop on an e-mail dated 17th May.
Also in the Village Design Statement (unabridged version) Page 28 it states
Those residential front boundaries which comprise hedges, bushes and trees or a combination of low walls and shrubbery should be retained. They are in the majority and they make a significant contribution to the street scene. As a rule, boundaries marked by fences are not in keeping with the setting and the C.A. status.
Applications withdrawn:
10/1621M Brookwood, Chelford Road proposed new 3 car garage and leisure complex extension dwelling at Brookwood, formerly Herons Brook
